Yeah, I know, on top of my other quilt ambition for my daughter's big girl bed. These are nice big squares though so I envision it going so quickly. Ha! Special needles needed for denim though. That I know. It's from the June/July 2010 Issue of

love it! Not sure how the cutting of denim would go...but the 'big square' quilts on the girls beds took less than a day. And I assume you wouldn't need to back, quilt, or bind the jean quilt! I love the whole idea...as long as the sewing machine can handle it!
ReplyDeleteThey did put a back on it but unlike a traditional quilt with a binding and stuffing they just sewed the two giant rectangles together and then flipped it right side out. I seriously regret donating some old jeans probably a few months before I got serious about my sewing goals!
