I want to make this!



Yeah, I know, on top of my other quilt ambition for my daughter's big girl bed. These are nice big squares though so I envision it going so quickly. Ha! Special needles needed for denim though. That I know. It's from the June/July 2010 Issue of ReadyMade Magazine, for those who are curious.

  1. love it! Not sure how the cutting of denim would go...but the 'big square' quilts on the girls beds took less than a day. And I assume you wouldn't need to back, quilt, or bind the jean quilt! I love the whole idea...as long as the sewing machine can handle it!

  2. They did put a back on it but unlike a traditional quilt with a binding and stuffing they just sewed the two giant rectangles together and then flipped it right side out. I seriously regret donating some old jeans probably a few months before I got serious about my sewing goals!
